I believe strongly that the blend of expertise and experience provided by both organisations will really benefit port professionals and port executives alike to better understand their roles and responsibilities in port marine safety and port security.”Delegates will be given the opportunity to take part in an interactive emergency planning and response exercise using BMT’s REMBRANDT simulation software, enabling attendees to identify and assess risk mitigation measures. This exercise will also help to plan for and respond to emergency situations and run ‘what if’ scenarios within a simulated port environment. Lee Rhodes, Senior Consultant at BMT Isis explains: “We’re excited to be working in partnership with the Port of Dover to deliver this bespoke workshop. This programme is yet another example of our commitment to continuous improvement and sharing best practice within the industry in which we operate. We provide a range of safety awareness training courses including risk assessment and management techniques and application of the PSMC, ISM and ISPS codes.” My location Print  Close BMT, December 2, 2013last_img read more
